Dancing Through The Decades! Monique School of Dance is celebrating our 40th anniversary and would like to welcome all past, present and future students. We have been blessed with so many wonderful and talented dancers and thank each and every one of them!
Our 40th Anniversary Revue was held June 13 & 14, 2012 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. We are so glad to have seen you all there!
We are the leading ‘non-competition’ dance studio in the Twin Cites. Monique School of Dance focuses its training to encourage dance for “…the love of dance”. Celebrating our 40th year!
We participate in quite a variety of community and metro activities, ranging from Apple Valley events…to St Paul Winter Carnival….to Timberwolves and MN Swarm (pro lacrosse) games!
And this past season (2011) we participated in the New York City Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Monique School of Dance 2011 Macy’s Parade Dancers
These are 25 of our dancers who performed with other dancers from across the U.S. for this year’s Macy’s thanksgiving Day Parade.
This was our 3rd time participating in this parade. 2001, 2007 and now 2011. The experience for all of our dancers is incredible! The opportunity to be in New York City for one of the grandest parades in America is a once in a lifetime chance for these wonderful dancers.
Our dancers, over the past year, have raised their money by doing various fundraisers to be able to go. We are very proud of our girls and also very thankful for all of our parents who have supported them and us in this endeavor. We are also proud that this is an activity to help mark our 40th year of Monique School of Dance.
“The art of dance is a ‘wonder’ experience for your child. Through dance, they grow in
social graces, coordination, physical fitness, poise, grace, and they learn to appreciate
the arts. Our faculty strives to balance discipline, technique, pride of performing, and
how to be the best you can be through the love for dance.”
